Winter (November – April)
Diving is mainly in the ocean channels on the eastern side of the atolls. These channels allow current flow to enter and exit the atoll, making them clear and rich of marine life. Our instructors will guide you to the best diving sites crowded with huge variety of fish, tunas, eagle ray, white tip sharks and even hammerhead sharks. You can also dive in shallow caves and canyons filled with colourful coral formation and marine fauna that are uniquely Maldives.
Summer (May – November)
There is a misconception that Maldives is not suitable for diving in the summer. The western atolls are the focus for this season. Feast your eyes on healthy corals with rainbow colours. The currents bring along reef fishes, big fish and pelagic like sharks. Very high chances of encountering mantas, hammerhead sharks and whale sharks.
